Worst Experience

Have you ever tried to renew your subscription / upgrade or downgrade your package in dishtv? It always leaves a bitter aftertaste.


Ever since I acquired my dishtv connection, I have been renewing my subscription through internet, since my access to other modes of payment are more difficult. But, I have never found this mode of payment through internet also user-friendly. It is a very badly designed website and very difficult to use. But I put up with all these difficulties.


I used to subscribe for Platinum South pack. Recently I downgraded it to Silver South pack and paid the subscription for one year. But due to popular demand at home, I again wanted to upgrade it to Platinum South pack. I have been struggling to do this for the last ONE MONTH, but of no avail.


The website would not let me do this, because there is no option there to meet my requirement. Emailing through the website using the "Contact Us" tab did not yield any result. Trying to call the phone number at Chennai did not yield any response. After the fifth call to the call centre (18601803474) the call landed to the customer representative, but the call got terminated in the middle. My subsequent attempts to the call centre drew flak. Now I am helpless.
