The advertisement for dishnet said ’to encourage women and girls’ to become cyber-savvy. God, after reading the adv. did I start dreaming-- mails, chatting, browsing, helping kids with their homework and surely talking the cyber-lingo with my pals.I did the get the dial-up connection for an hour a day supposed to be valid for the next five years. This was solely ’for the women’.I got my connection immediately and for the next one month I enjoyed my tryst with this wonderful machine-- I even voice chatted. I made sure I did not exceed the time limit everyday unlike what cinderella at the hour of 12.After that gorgeous month I suddenly lost my connection.There was no response to my umpteen calls to their hubs, and no replies to any of my numerous emails.Now after a year or so, after going through various reviews I find i’m not alone.
I write this such that folks do not waste their money and energy on this dishnet dial-up connection.
