I agree with the other reviews written. I wonder how this company is operating and surviving in the market. I had applied for the connection in Aug’03 and did not get it after 22 days. I tried to speak to their Customer Care group. They are clueless and of no help to customers. I asked to speak to their Managers or Supervisor who can sort out the matter. I was told that all of them are in meeting and can not attend to my problem. I am sure they must be fed up of hundreds of such client complaints hence are afraid of attending the calls. I had to write to their Regional Manager and their head office to sort out the matter. I have been given 512 K connection after that. I would like to point out that the 300MB per month quota given in Rs. 1000/- is not adequate by any means. If anyone is surfing for 1 hour than data traffic is approx. 3 MB hence in effect if you have 300MB you can use it for 100 hrs. approx. per month. That amounts to 3 hrs per day. This is good for home, if daily surfing is not more than 3 hours. Only advantage in this connection is that the phone line becomes free and you save on the local call charges. As far as the company is concerned, I would advice if you have choice of other ISP please avoid this company as there is total chaos and no one seems to bother what is happening. I had another problem in the first 3 days of my connection that there was some trojan activity because of which I was getting very high data upstream traffic. I tried to seek help from DDSL but their customer care kept on repeating one sentence that everything is OK from our side, you check your machine for virus. I expected more than this from them. THey want to just pass on the burden to some one else.
