Dish TV - Pathetic Customer Service

The most pathetic customer service that one can ever get is from Dish TV Customer Care. Every time you call the standard reply you get is that the problem will be solved in 24 to 48 hours. The same history repeats after 48 hours without the problem being solved.


Every problem one needs to shell out 170 Rs for home visit+ another 250 to 300 Rs for solving the set top box problem.


As my set-top box was not working for a month, I was promised a waiver for that duration. This was in the month of May. Today is July and I have not got the waiver as yet. However my service has been promptly discontinued this morning. I am still waiting to get a waiver from them. Bottom line if dish tv owes you anything for e.g you need to get a waiver for some of the charges which they have promised you - then keep on waiting you would never get it from them
