Fake and scam to take people's money

Hello Team,


Concerning this entire petition, I’d like to express my dissatisfaction with customer service and the false commitment made by Distant Holidays agent "Uzma Ashraf" (Contact numbers: +91 979616xxxx & +91 979699xxxx). I had paid for the trip to Leh-Ladakh.


However, I had not been provided a money receipt, and my booking had been canceled without my confirmation. I have the entire email conversation for more reasonable documentation proof. The trip for four adults is scheduled for September 3rd, 2022.


I made an advance payment of INR 6000/-on "March 4, 2022" at 7:08 PM, which was transferred to the company’s bank account through my G-pay.


However, I had been chasing the money receipt since that day, but my calls had been repeatedly ignored. I’ve marked several emails for booking confirmation as well, but the team had not processed any bookings.


But, unfortunately, I will have to cancel this trip in August 2022 because I am affected by COVID-19 (Positive).


I was told by the agent named "Uzma Ashraf" (Contact no: +91 979616xxxx & +91 979699xxxx) at the time of booking the packages that if my plan is canceled due to COVID 19 (Positive), I will receive a full refund if I produce the valid test report and medical prescription, which I have already shared in the email.


Nevertheless, she responded via email and stated that they would refund me Rs. 3500. So, for an update, I contacted her again on August 29th, 2022, but she again stated that they would not provide me with any refund.


According to the index of my petition and activity, I can safely assume that Distant Holidays took my money of Rs.6000/-but did not provide me with a money receipt or booking confirmation for my trip. In addition, due to a health issue, I had to cancel the trip. They initially stated that they would refund Rs. 3500/-but then simply denied it.


I would like to request that your team initiate the full refund of INR.6000, which has been committed from your end as well at the time of paying the advance.


You can contact me on my cell phone in your free time so that I can clarify my position in greater detail. Please review and shed some light on this matter. I eagerly await your response to the query.
