The Divine Intervention was written by a MouthShut member, Cheryl Kaye Tardif.
My Review
The book begins in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, right after a high profile case is solved.
This book is about Jasmine McLean, who is an agent of the Canadian Bureau of Investigations.
She is psychic and works as a profiler for them, because some how she can go inside of them, and look through their eyes. This means she can tell her colleagues about a crime scene and who might have committed the crime.
Her partners are Natassia Prushenko, who is an empath, (and can draw what she sees inside her mind) and Benjamin Roberts, is a mind-reading profiler.
The book is about a new case, where three people were murdered in a fire.
Brandon Walsh is Chief of the Arson Investigations, and it is up to his team to find the murderer.
Imagine 3 phsyics in one room trying to see what has happened!!!Some times this helps and at other times it doesnt.
This also makes them a target for the person they are looking for.
What I thought
Cheryl has developed her characters very well. Their emotions are stripped bare, and you feel you know them. I almost fell in love with the handsome, Briandon Walsh.
The chemistry between Jasmine and Brandon, is hotter than being in Bali!
The plots twist and turn, so you are won?t expect what happens next.
This book was so interesting, that I read it in one day. To be fair, if I wasnt in bed taking care of my broken ankle it would have taken me a few days to read it.
The Author
Cheryl has published two novels. Her first was Whale Song. She was born in British Columbia, but now lives in Edmonton, Alberta Canada, with her husband and daughter.
She works as a journalist for two newspapers in British Columbia.
