I needed thankuni/Indian pennywort/gotukola; scientific name: Centella asiatica. It is also known in some regions as Brahmi. So I purchased Divyas Brahmi Churna, which has a picture of the herb on the bottle, as you can see in the photo. I know the herb I wanted, so I went by the picture. However, after bringing it home, I noticed that the scientific name mentioned at the back of the bottle is Bacopa monnieri, also known as Brahmi. Now I have two questions for Divya - 1. Do you even know your herbs? 2. Do you have any inspection or quality check process in place?
Anything sells in the name of Ayurveda, huh?
