Do Beauty Pageants really bring out the beauty of a woman?No, to prove to be a ’’WOMAN OF SUBSTANCE’’, today’s women don’t need a beauty pageant.
I have never really been able to understand , how by parading in front of a large audience in a swimsuit, is a person’s beauty measured. I believe that for a person to be truly beautiful, a person has to possess a very beautiful heart, a heart which cares for others and is always ready to extend a helping hand.
There are thousand’s of women who strive day after day , facing all the hardships of life, sacrificing themselves for the sake of their children and their family.Aren’t these women beautiful?Are good looks, a good figure, the only criteria to judge a person’s beauty? some say, it gives a platform for young girls to project themselves at an international level, show their talents and self confidence , but is the fame and moneyreally worth as compared to the exploitation.
I feel that a woman can prove herself in many other ways.Beauty Pageants can only bring out the physical beauty of a person, but to know a person’s true beauty, I believe just close your eyes and trust that voice of your heart which says’’ YES, THIS PERSON IS REALLY BEAUTIFUL ’’.
