Yes, Friends it is True you will be above the Clouds when you reach Doddabetta Peak not only at the Peak even when you take a start of your travel from Ooty towards Doddabetta you will will start getting above the Clouds you will be be able to see the cloud at a level much below where you stand. You can say it is the highest peak in South India which is approximately 8650 feet above the sea level.
I have been to there in the month of November the weather was chilling but mind blossoming too. Many People say that it is good to visit the place in summer but my opinio is totally different because the specialty of that place is Cold Climate there and if you go in summer then you wont be able to see the Specialties whereas if you go in and around December then you can see the actual beauty of it and if your luck favors then you might see the snowfall also.
When you visit this place don’t forget to have the Hot Spicy Chana Masala here its really a very superb experience in that cool chilling climate to have hot and spicy Chana’s.
Next Time When I visit I will surely plan for a night stay there.
