Pleasant and cozy surprise

I have been to Goa a couple of times, but didn’t really notice it. May be it’s recently opened or was always there and I failed to notice it. Honestly, it is unusual to expect a Dominos outlet in Goa, because the place is dominated mostly by hotels and restaurants run by locals out there. So this Domino’s outlet is just near the bus stand and is the first thing that you will notice when you reach the spot, apart from Cafe Coffee day.

This was monsoon when I visited Goa recently, and it was pouring cats and dogs, while I was craving for some hot pizza and fast food. So, I went to the Dominos store. It was a neat and bright place, and compared to the temperature outside which was extremely low(around 14 degrees), the temperature inside the outlet was cozy and very comforting. It was a relief to sit here. It is a tiny store with about 7 to 8 tables and 4 chairs with each table. There was ample space and I could be assured that no one would be able to listen to my conversation.

The staff was very friendly. The only problem was that there weren’t really any discounts and if I needed one, then I had to avail it online. The Internet was to bad to check for online coupons or place an order online. So I had to order a pizza at the cost mentioned on the menu. Also, I noticed that the prices were really high as compared to that in Mumbai. While a non-veg cheese burst pizza costs around Rs. 600 in Mumbai(inclusive of taxes), it costed me around Rs. 800 at Goa. The taste was really good and standard. I even tried the Chicken Taco which was heavy and had an tire slab of tummy chicken filling the taco canopy. Loved it weather plus pizza.
