When idiots run food-related businesses...

The problem with franchise opportunities is that it enables idiots with enough start up money to run businesses.

First off, Dominos pizza is mediocre at best. Let’s face it, compared to Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, Little Caesers and Bucks’, Dominos is hardly satisfying.

Not only that the service is horrible. Okay, it’s understood that there are little franchises all over the place, but even still, if they’re going to allow owners to use the Dominos label/name, you should at least make an effort to train them on customer service.

The ignorant, rude, lazy, slacker bums that work at the local Dominos here, are anything but appreciative.

Just the other day, I ordered a pizza from Dominos’. I had worked late and came home to nothing to eat, so I figured a pizza would do. I could eat off of it for a couple of days and feed the dogs too. I ordered it very late at 10pm. 40 minutes later the pizza deliverer shows up with the wrong order. I’m starved, but he offers to return, get the right order and rush back. Okay. I figure. He’ll rush so it should take 20 minutes at most. I wait... and wait... and wait. 12am. I call them up to see what is going on. They tell me that the deliverer said I wanted to cancel my order. ?? I explain to the manager what happened, assuming since he is in charge, we can work something out.

He says that it’s closed and there’s nothing he can do. Huh? So, because his employee screwed up, I go hungry for the night?

I asked if there was something he would like to do to keep me a customer, since I’ve supported this particular store for years. This dimwit doesn’t have enough customer service skills to offer me free cheesy bread. Finally after my suggesting, he agrees to a free pizza on a later date, then hangs up in my face. Wow. That’s some way to treat a customer who has helped fund your paychecks for years.

I woke up at 6 am, still starved and ended up eating a huge breakfast of 3 bagels with cream cheese, eggs, hash browns and a coffee. I think I gained 2 pounds.

And I don’t think I will be taking that free pizza, judging from the attitudes of these morons they are likely to spit, gag or do something worse to it. No thank you.

And all because of a fouled-up franchise, Dominos gets a BIG ZERO from me.

Edited: I initially ordered the pizza at 10, not 11.
