Well, how bad can a pizza treat go? And what do you expect from a premium Pizza services company to tell you if they have not delivered on time?
Pay up or eat Free!!
Yes, 7th December 2008, I called up the New Friends Colony branch of Dominos at around 6:24 pm, and placed an order for a Large pizza with a regular pizza citing an offer coupon number over the phone with my residential address.
Well past over 35 minutes and no sign of any pizza I called up the same branch again and enquired and the guy over the phone who took my order said that "you are mistaken sir, I enquired twice you gave me your address as (55 A and not 51 A)". And after almost a minute on hold the same guy comes back on the phone and tell me "Sir if you wish to pay pay otherwise you have to accept the late pizza". Upon asking the guy as to how could I misspell my own address and if Dominos has the call recorded? The guy says its your mistake you gave my delivery boy the incorrect address.
Upon saying that I wont accept a "cold pizza" the guy promises that the pizza would be fresh and hot, which I wish he could have been present at my place at the time of order delivery (almost an hour late) the pizza was absolutely rubbish.
I have taken pictures of the so called sealed boxes on my cell phone which I would soon share.
If this is how Dominos trains its employees to talk to the customer, I must say they are not even close to being courteous let alone polite. I definitely am not ordering from Dominos this day onwards.
