Its an old cliche " All good things come to an end......sooner or later".
Id use in context to Dominos service in the recent past. Once upon a time Dominos started off their 30 mins delivery plan which has done wonders for the company. the penultimate objective was to provide customer with good eatery experinece. But offl ate the franchisees have lost the sychronisation with the guys who came up with such a promice to deliver the customer a world class pizza in half an hour.
Present day situation is even though you live half a kilometer away from the dominos shop the Ordertakers wil say " We dont deliver there sir....".though most of the times the call is left unanswered though. This is what happening at one of the store at Sion. on saturday and the subsequent sunday I tried to reach Dominos over call but to my utter astonishment no body cared to answer the call. At last after 30-40 attempts some lady picked up the call and started talking to somebody else in the shop. Now as per the golden rules of call centers somebody gotta answer the call in 1-3 mins time if its ringing. And while handling a call no distractions are allowed. I guess the Dominos managment has forgotten such rules or worst they think the Brand will sell wha may come. HUH !!!!
There are certainly very good joints life Pizza Hut and Narulas. The ambience of the shop is far supirior that what Dominos provides. Further the people manning the shop are good.
A humble suggetion to my readers: If you are willing to spend your time sulking in anger waiting for your pizza to arrive go to Dominos.
