Saw Don 2 last night. Should have guessed from the fact that we got 4 tkts 15 min before the show, without a queue. The film is extremely stylish, with lots of action scenes ( the car chase is good, Priyanka’s car’s airbags open but SRK’s don’t even after so much crashing!!!). Though most of them copy MI series movies (even climax taken from Artemis Fowl book for teens).
The story is implausible & drags on
Why on earth would they try to steal the currency plates when everyone knows that the paper on which the notes are printed are also special? There are so many loopholes in the movie that after 20 mins you have to suspend logic & belief & just watch the style & glamour. SRK wears a mask of guess who? Hrithik Roshan!! So now his voice & height both are different. If this was sci fi like Ra.One it still would be ok.
If Don can disguise himself so effectively why does he not disguise as the President of the bank that he intends to rob? The cops esp Interpol are shown to be goofs piecing clues together like the serial CID. Hilariously he is given a gun & is helping the cops to free the hostages!!!
Watch it only if you are a diehard SRK fan, & love style without substance. At least RaOne was Sci fi
