Reading Umpteen negative reviews thought to skip this film.Anyways though Its an average fare from raghava lawrence the stylish production values elevates the film..Music is mediocre which is strong negative aspect of this film.Many nagarjuna films have some excellent songs.but here lawrence fails miserably yes his direction is good & handles the script well.
Story : As I said in the title this is not our montonous Indian DOn movie affair. The story is about a Don, who is Good, Who stops the entry of mumbai based DOn into hyderabad and who loves his brother/right hand more than his lover.
Suri(nagarjuna) is hyderabad based don who fights against evil with his aide-de-camp raghava(lawrence).Both enjoy great rapport.Raghava even decides to marry only after suri.A mumbai don Stephan (kelly) wanna take monpoly of whole country mafia.He overtakes all Dons one by one and eyes hyderabad where his entry is restricted by suri.So Ultimately a combat starts between SURI and Stephan.Thats the main theme.
CAsT : Nagarjuna, Lawrence, Kelly, Anushka, Nikita
Performance : Nagarjuna perfomed very well as suri.The whole story revolves around him as a Don who does good and who cares for poor.
Lawrence is good.There are few scenes we may think he overacted but overall he is good.
Kelly is excellent as evil minded Don who gives a damn for anyone even his own men.
Anushka ... well well she is hot.but there is not much to perform.Yes she did her contribution very well ... skin show .Nikita is good.
Music : Expect two songs all the songs are run-of-the-mill.Better lawrence takes much care if at all he takes this department too.Background score is superb.
Cinematography : This department scores cent.
Editing : Its ok.But there are many unwanted and cliched scenes
Production : Production values are great.
Screenplay & Direction : Both are good.Though there are few comical moments in the film there are no boring moments thanks to stylish production.

A treat for Nagarjuna fans. For others if love gangster filcks then its a must watch.
