Hi this is my first reveiw on mouthshut.
well about new don nothing is fine in it. Acording to me new don can b termed as goood in its own terms
but whenever the comparison begins new don stand nowhere as compared to old one.
the story line, the performances , the classic style of the don of 70s (amitabh bachchan), it was all charismatic, whether helen or zeenat everything was in its own place.
but new don lack all these, no good music, no great performances.
sharukh doesn’t exxactly loook like don . he seems to b overacting instead of acting. moreover here he was trying to put his feeet in amitabh’s shoes that was again something cant happen. as amitabh cant perform that good in DDLJ same for sharukh trying to become DON.
story is also a bit confused. to give some twist it is almost ruined as compared to old one.
pls bollywoood producers dont do fooolish things by RE-MAKING classics b a bit creative and do something of ur own.. that will yeild u better returns and will help u make ur name as big brand as raj kapoor or subhash ghai , etc
u guys better watch OLDY GOLDY DON instead of new one .. thats much better deal.
