I liked the movie a lot. The movie has been packaged very well. Shah Rukh Khan has done a great job. Infact I think nobody could have done it better than him as far as bollywood is concerned.
All this thing about him copying Amitabh is just faf. The Don has a persona of his own, and a very enigmatic one at that.

However, I do feel the movie could have been tighter on certain occassions.
The movie starts with the word Don followed by a speedy action squence. The photography and camera angles are good. The new khaike pan Banaras wala rocks infact better on some aspects. But then this is the new Don and would suit the flavour of 2006.
We have a new action heroine in Priyanka Chopra. She did little but was neat. So if you are planning to watch the movie, get ready for a masaledar trip. Shah Rukh’s little funny ones, Priyanka’s suave moves, Boman Irani however would be better for comedy roles. He really couldn’t live up to the police officer / Vardhan.
The background score is good. Haunting like James Bond. And yes the loop has been left open for a sequel. I wold love to watch one...
