This review is about the book ’Don’t lose your mind, lose your weight’ by Rujuta Diwekar.Good book!! The entire book talks about a very practical approach and the suggestions are absolutely do-able. Ultimately it boils down to observing the 4 principles which are fairly simple.
Also I personally love exercisiing, so liked the way Rujuta has stressed the importance of exercise with diet. The diets she has recommened for various types of people is very helpful. It covers people in different age groups, professions hence activity levels, life-stages and so on. I had stopped eating cheese but now I can once again start eating it in a proper manner!!
There is an element of humour throughout the book which makes it more enjoyable.I have friends who have followed the GM / Atkins , , , , diet and while I have seen them lose weight, they have also lost the glow on their face and have shown a decrease in their immunity levels. After reading this book, I felt I was eating much the same as suggested in the book, but now it will be with more consciousness, in terms of quantity, timing etc, so the results will definitely be positive. Hope Rujuta is planning more such stuff which educates us further about healthy lifestyle.
