Oh my god ..... what a movie !! really , this is a movie which sets an example for bollywood directors .certainly ’not the ace’ actors like AYESHA TAKIA , SHREYASH TALPADE , GUL PANAG can be fantastic .
STORY : MEERA ( ayesha takia ) is a rajasthani girl living happily with her husband . ZEENAT ( gul panag ) is a kashmiri girl also living with her husband . both their husbands go to SAUDI for work . both of them live together and r good friends .
suddenly one day MEERA comes to know that her husband fell of a building and died and ZEENAT’s husband was the only one convicted . ( MEERA AND ZEENAT DONT OBVIOUSLY DONT KNOW EACH OTHER TILL THIS POINT OF THE STORY ) . zeenat comes to know that her husband can be spared by the saudi police on only one condition : IF MEERA FORGIVES HIM OF HER HUSBAND’S DEATH !! . ZEENAT goes to rajasthan with just a photo of MEERA to search her . what then happens , whether MEERA forgives ZEENAT’s husband or no is what the second part is all about .
i did not mention a very fantastic character in the story , that of SHREYASH TALPADE . he plays a ’ bahurupia’ in the story and provides some really humorous moments in the story . truly without him the story would have been a bit dull .
finally about acting I would say AYESHA TAKIA proves that she can offer five star performance given a chance .
the music by SALIM - SULEIMAN is mesmerising !!
finally I would say , watch the movie and feel how much nagesh kukunoor has matured as a director
