I guess the title of the review would sum up want I would wanna say. It’s not a bad film. But I guess you could expect the humor in the film. The usual humor of people being misunderstood for being gay or pretending to be gay.
Neverthless would say that it has all the elements to be a huge commercial success and it is. Good music, great eye candy (Priyana here eh hmm..) along wit the usual dress -up- in your- best clothes- while- you sleep, good locations and decent cinematography et al.
So the usual multiplex -hang out with friends - easy on the head kinda of movie. Not bad but neither very refreshing.
Do’nt get me wrong .. I’ve enjoyed the slapstick, run up the mill, masala films such a Golmaal but wasn’t very impressed by this one.
I mean its teh script that anyone could have written. It’s humor that you could expect and maybe have seen in the past. Everyone enjoyed Kantbhai whose sort of iconic in the Indian aunty’s representation of what could go wrong with men. (I meant that in lighter vein- choice rules when it comes to sexuality!!)
So nice catch up /hang out with friends sort of film but humor is something you could expect. Put it this way - I still got Rock On’s VCD home (after catching it at the theatre) but guess would skip this one.
