Doughmain has an interesting concept, and some funny wallpaper, but that’s about it. More thought has gone in to the design of the place, than in its food preparation. When it was new, I had gone there a couple of times, along with other inquisitive Puneites. The food was okay, but the
ambiance was great, as the management had organized some live performances to
advertise the place.
However, over time, the crowd started dwindling, and the service got very poor. I stopped going to Doughmain for a looooong time, as the last few times I went, the food was stale, or there was fungus on the baked products. Every time I pass by the place (even nowadays), I see hardly any
customers. I dare not go back there, for fear that I may end up wasting hard-earned money on badly-cooked food.
Buyer beware, Marzorin resteraunt(just across the road from Doughmain) is a MUCH MUCH BETTER option.
Happy Eating!
