Well I got dove for a simple reason. The reason it boasts about. Ideal for dry skin.. Moisturizes to the perfection and so on. I suffer from the DRY SKIN syndrome so I generally go for moisturizer based cosmetics and here was one more I was all set to try.
I came to a final decision when while seeing the advertisement on the TV, a door salesman came with the dove promotion offer. Perfect timing isn’t it.
The soap actually does it job. It makes the skin feel nourished and not stretched when you come out of wash/bath. I have been using nivea and Oil of Olay too, and I have to agree even these soaps do get a good Rating. I went for Dove just because it was a new brand and it was supposed to do wonders. So I thought lemme check.
The soap by itself is good. it serves the purpose of moisturizing but the only thing which I did not like is the way it becomes sloppy when wet. you tend to have it sticking to your hand. Thus the soap gets wasted a lot and you have to be really careful with it.
I would recommend the soap as a good remedy to get ultra dry skin back into normal type.. but it would not be a good one with normal/oily skin type. it is cream based and hence gives you a lovely feeling when you walk out though.
So dry skin people.. here is one reason to shoot your collars up :) You can enjoy the soap.. THEY CANT :)
