I had planned to take an eye test to get a new prescription for the glasses that I want it changed. I selected Dr.Agarwal Eye hospital on Hosur Road to get my eyes tested. Little did I know that they will blow a deep hol e into my pocket causing a damage of nearly Rs.2750 which I had hoped would be around the 300 rupee range. I was asked to take 3-4 tests, like field test, epitheleal test citing a reason that I had a eyelash rubbing on the retina. I was not told that this particular test costed 1000 bucks until they slapped the bill on my face. Moreover, I was asked to come the next day for the actual test for glasses prescription. So, I ended up paying such a big amount and not getting the job done until the next day. I was repeatedly coaxed to get laser therapy done and also put silicon plugs in the eye to keep them moist. I found this coaxing really disgusting. These people are out there to skin you. I was also coaxed to get the glasses done in their shop. I had to run out of the place to avoid further damage. In summary, please do not go to this hospital to get a simple eye test done. They will ask you to take tests and slap a huge bill and this fact was also confirmed by the Optician from whom I got my glasses done.
