I enrolled with Dr Batras in June for treatment of alopecia (hairfall). Homeopathy has traditionally been considered the most economical mode of treatment available. Thanx to these new-age homeo clinics, its now one of the most expensive (I paid 8 grands in advance for a years treatment). Its still worthwhile if u get what ure promised. But that really doesnt seem to be the case.
I enrolled myself in Kolkata and shortly after, shifted to Ludhiana due to job transfer. I was promised before enrolling that I can get my account transferred in any of the Batras branch in India in a matter of minutes. Its been two months and after making countless calls to both ludhiana and Kolkata branch, and even writing an email to Batras Head Office, threatening them of legal consequences, am yet to get the transfer.
The doctors here act more like one of those credit card/insurance sales persons. All they care for is to somehow get u enrolled and take the payment in advance.
The Batras package includes dosages, ointment and laser treatment. I read on the internet that the lasertreatment, in order to be effective, should last for a minimum of10mins. But in Dr.Batras two minutes is what u get.
I would suggest that anybody who wants to try out any of these flashy humbuggers, should make the payment in equated monthly postdated cheques. This way atleast you would have a way to keep them straight.
