I feel so cheated after going to Dr.Batra’s Bangalore. I spent a huge amount on the hair treatment for 2 years and there was zero improvement even though I followed their instructions promptly. The worst part about them is when it is time to renew your subscription, the senior doctor calls you on the pretext of seeing the progress and will say something like ’’wow, I can see improvement compared to what it was 1 year back, there are very tiny hairs growing. Another year and there will surely be full improvement". And also adds, "Hey! Looks like your facial skin is getting very dry and adds another list of problems, which the junior doctor would never have observed during the monthly visits and the reason for that is the problem never exists in the first place. I fell for their lies both before joining and during the first renewal, but did not allow them to fool me the third time.
I would say Dr.Batras top the list of biggest cheats in India. I referred one of my relatives too during my treatment and it did not work even for him. When I used to communicate with other people in the lobby during the waiting time, I could not get even a single positive response for hair treatment. I am not sure of other treatments though. I request people not to fall for ADVERTISING. Please...I went there seeing their advertisements and made a fool of myself.
I again fell for advertising and went to another Homeopathy clinic called Dr.Health in Bangalore for 2 years and even that did not work. The only thing I liked about about Dr.Health is even though they promised hair growth and made me lose 8000 rupees, they at least had the courtesy to accept, in the end, that their medicines were not working and did not ask me to continue.
Finally, some friends referred me to an allopathy doctor who never advertises, but with whom you don’t get appoint for at least 2 months because of the huge rush. Believe it or not, I got most of my lost hairs in just 3 months. He charged just Rs.200 for a visit, which is once in 3 months, peanuts compared to what Batra’s and Dr.Health charge.
The lesson I learnt:
Never fall for advertising, always go through word of mouth.
