Their first trap is to impress people with advertisements.
Second trap is to impress with good infrastructure, posh looking interiors.
When you visit their clinic for the first time, you will be asked to fill a form with your basic details. Then you will be asked to consult a doctor who is a complete brainwasher rather. He/She says many pleasant words like "do not worry, you will see unbelievable improvement in your health once you start our medicine. It is quite slow, but has no side effects" and so on. You will be asked many questions about your profession, family, health, worries etc. As you keep explaining, doctor keeps typing fast in computer just to make you feel that they are collecting so much data.
When you come out of this session, you feel like finally you have found the right place to get good health. You will be eager to start their treatment, you will be ready to pay whatever money they charge.
They use this state of your mind for the next biggest trap.
They say their charges are in annual packages, you need to take this treatment for 2-3 years as homeopathy is a slow process. You have to pay an ’x’ amount (which is usually 5K to 10K) for 1 year. As they accept credit cards with monthly EMIs, you will not be concerned much with the budget (hoping that it is worth paying). Then you will be asked to visit their clinic once in a month. You need not have to remember the date and take appointment. Getting appointment is also so sophisticated that you will be getting regular messages on your mobile saying "your next appointment at Dr. Batras is on date, time etc".
Your monthly visits of the doctor lasts hardly for 5 min. They take photographs of the affected portion, say few common words like "reduce weight, drink more water, do exercise, eat healthy food, sleep well, don’t get stressed" etc. Small white pills, oil, creme will be given to you as required.
6 months to 1 year pass like this. Even if you do not find any difference in your health condition, you don’t care much thinking that it is a slow treatment. At the completion of 1 year, they increase fees but treatment remains the same. I had paid 5K for first year and 8K for next year at Dr. Batras clinic in Jayanagar, B’lore. The trap here is, after 1 year you will neither be in a condition to stop the treatment or continue it. So you have no other option than paying more money for the next year.
Second year will be exactly same as the first year. Lost money, no gain.
You will come to know their true color only after 2-3 years. After losing so much money, so many precious years of your life..
Most irritating thing is, everytime you visit their clinic, they ask you to refer 5-6 people to their clinic. They don’t get satisfied even if you refer 5-6 people during a visit. In your next visit, they ask to refer few more people. Doctors, treatment, medicines everything is fake. That is why they advertise themselves so much and beg/bug people to come to their clinic.
I would like to add upon the competency of doctors at Dr.Batras clinic. I went to their clinic for a gyneocological problem (irregular cycles) and excess facial/body hair. Any normal gyneacologist would suggest many tests to diagnise the problem. But I was not told to undergo any other tests apart from a normal scanning. They were simply giving the pills without knowing the root cause. I had scalp hair loss also but it was not my primary concern. I was sure that if the major problem is corrected, then hair problem also gets corrected. But in my every visit, doctor used to take the photographs of scalp hair and he used to talk only about hair loss. If I ask about the primary problem, just one line reply "don’t worry, i’m giving medicine, it will be alright soon".
After 2 years, I developed a strong feeling of being cheated by them.
I stopped my treatment and consulted a famous gyneacologist in B’lore. She suggested several tests to diagnose the problem. I underwent D&C and a laproscopic surgery recently. Still my problem is not corrected but at least I have a better feeling of getting good diagnosis and treatment.
Don’t ever go to Dr.Batras clinic.
