So I start by what I felt about him. With my son completing 1 year now I think I have visited quite a few doctors now and hence I believe I am in a position to write a review after so much of comparison of pediatric doctors.
Apart from his ability of "Impeccable Diagnose of the problem", the next best thing about him is that he does not prefer giving medicines to the child and will try to cure him by pointing out the reason for the problem and instructing parents to change the way they are handling the child. One thing you will notice he has a habit of giving analogies, one that I remember is - "A new born is like a brand new car, the car rarely has a problem, Its always the driver who is the problem." Obviously the parents are the drivers in case of a child. He will not cure your child he will tell you how to raise your child.
Another, thing I will like to point out here is that he is a very busy man and at time will turn you away for being late. Although, it does not feel good to the parents who have there suffering child in there arms. But it seemed genuine to me after I came to know Dr. Farhan’s role in the children ICU of Rainbow hospital. I hope all will understand that children in ICU are not there because of loose motions or running nose.
I owe him a lot for helping me through the first year of my son and this note of appreciation should not be considers as something in return. This is just to help other parents who have gone through some unpleasant experiences in the past or who want to avoid some unpleasant experiences involving there child.
