I traveled overseas after hearing all the reviews about him. Had a severe back pain, disc related for which I even had my MRI taken from overseas and had previously consulted very prominent doctors(personal sports doctors/Physicians) who were connected to famous sporting teams. Thus I had a very good idea on what my problem was and how to manage my pain but not to make it heal completely and this is why I finally decided to consult him in Mysore.
After reaching India I went there after a whole day of interstate travel by road which worsened my condition and was literally stiff and limping by the time I reached Mysore. I had an agent who helped me jump the queue so got in straight away being very positive and excited that my pain and suffering will be gone very soon but I was very wrong. I got into his room where he had 2 or 3 people with him one was his assistant. Dr Mehaboob who was sitting on a bed/sofa quickly grabbed my MRI scan with no chit chat and even asking me what my problem was but read the MRI result and said it was my l4 l5 disc related( Which I knew already). Then straight away told me to lie down on the floor head facing down tied a belt around me and rubbed a green oil on my lower spine. His assistant then lifted both my legs one at a time towards the back asking whether I had any pain. But I never have any pain when the legs were pulled backwards. He asked me to stand up and then in the room corner there was this basket filled with paper covered bottles(small homeo bottles filled with green liquid which is the oil and another bottle some cream colour powder.) I told I still couldn’t raise my stiff leg and it was still very painful expecting he would advise some stretches or other exercises. But I was wrong again, just use the oil and use the powder with butter milk that was the reply, all this in 5 mins. I was amazed but still dint lose faith in the doctor.
Went home started taking the prescribed medicines without losing any faith in the doctor though I was still in a lot of pain. Then after 2 and half weeks guess what happened.NOTHING!
I had to get admitted in a hospital because of my pain and stiffness and undergo physiotherapy for whole 3 weeks and by then I had exhausted my annual leave but I was feeling 10 times better than before. They advised me to continue with my advised exercise and stretches I order to manage my back pain and keep it under control.
Now this is why I felt that I had been scammed It is definitely not about the money that I have spent to reach and meet him and let me tell you he is not expensive for an individual person(But on a day he would be consulting atleast 100-200 patients by doing 5 minutes of consultation which would then make him an expensive scam doctor if there is no end result).
Please do not judge as you might think how come an educated individual would fall for such a scam. Let me tell you that one reaches such an emotional state where you are willing to do anything for a cure that only someone with a similar issue will be able to understand this.
But still the question here is who are all this people who say they have been cured by this 5min treatment. My doubt here is he able to perform miracles in 5min or was it the inner belief in them that got them all cured? Trust me I was full of it even after I reached home hoping his medicines would cure me.
I hope by posting this long personal experience with Dr Mehaboob might save some people by not wasting their time consulting with him but I am sure that people would still have that inner faith that they would get cured by him so for them good luck and hope he does a miracle for you which he could not perform for me.
