I happened to get admitted to this hospital for an emergency which required treatment at the ICU for a few hours. I expected the ICU to be pindrop silent.
What I noticed at the ICU was shocking - The atmosphere was not calm. There was a lot of noise and Nurses sitting around a table placed at the center of the ICU were chitchatting with doctors. I was very much worried.
Thank God, I got a little better and decided to leave the hospital. No more visits to Dr.Mehta’s. There are so many hospitals in Chennai which spend lakhs on advertisements to market themselves (and get that money through their exorbitant fees), but hard to find Hospitals that are really Hospitals. If anyone could suggest ONE good hospital in Chennai, it would be very helpful. I mean a hospital where the staff are caring, the charges are low , which has excellent doctors and that are run for serving the humanity, Not those that are run with a business-motive.
