Dr prakash baba amte is a marathi movie in which nana patekar plays the role of this great selfless doctor.The movie depicts how dr amte spends his whole life in service of tribal people in eastern maharashtra.
He was a doctor with great knowledge and could easily spend his luxurious life but instead he chooses to work of these people who have no one for their help.Inspite of lack of facilities in those remote areas he and his team of doctor manages to save and help each one successfully.
Also the role of dr prakash amte’s wife Mandakini Amte is played by Sonali kulkarni who without any expectations supports her husband in his social work.She didn’t even had company of him when she was pregnant as he was busy in serving these tribals but then too this lady didn’t complain a word.What a understanding and love!
Animals like leopards, hyenas, foxes were as equal to pet animals which shows that if loved even these animals which seem dangerous can be friends.
