I have seen very matured thoughts circulating among this community. So I wanted to elicit the response to this most tabboed subject, which really reflects the maturity of the society.Usually in India its associated with some wierd personalities like hijras , etc etc.But its not the case which you and everyone out there know , but afraid to admit , for social fear, even in the virtual world like here I would like to know how many can stand to accept the truth, which is natural rather than one forcing it upon oneself like alcoholism or drugs.I am 21 and an engineer student at IIT, Powai and a freelance top model.Infact I am not homo, but sympathise with them.In fact in the hostels it is a common thing , but in public they shiver to admit the fact and live a 2 sided life, even some have a steady reationship with girls for many years , but fail to admit the harsh reality, making a life hell for both of them for sure in future. The same can be said of girls, which is even more secluded in isolation.Infact it is society that forces them to become perverts , rather than lead a normal life, which is a passe in western countries. Its nowadays opening up in bombay with parties in select clubs , but still in other parts of the countries the situation is horrific.I really cant figure out what is wrong in the fact of just recogninsing the fact that its a natural phenomenon like sex.Indeed this is prevalent in society from time immorial , but still India , the land of kamasutra seems to be lacking in accepting this fact.To realise the fact that top models, fashion choreographers do bear this orientation and is an accepted norm in fashion circles , but soemhow the general public doesnt seem to accept this fact.
You may criticise me, but beware your own son, daughter or near and dear to you may be one of those leading that double life, wake up.
