I went to meet this doctor Shyam Aggarwal at Gangaram Hospital in early December 2012 as I heard lot about gangaram hospital but to my surprise I met up with one of the arrogant and unprofessional doctor. He spent only 3 to 4 minutes and in-between he kept talking on phone , with nurses , junior doctor and I doubt if he actually saw the reports of my mother and paid any attention to it and asked for the test.
Suddenly he asked about my profession, where do I work, where do I reside, I found all those questions irrelevant but when I was about to leave I understood the importance of the questions, he asked for the consultation fees which was free in gangaram that time and didn’t give me any receipt for the same, I said I didn’t have full money so he said whatever you have give me.
i never thought that such a senior person and the head of medical oncology at such a big hospital is actually very low on ethics and duties. Shame on these doctor for making healthcare a commodity business.
