I never seen such an ethic less doctor in my life. she is just fully money oriented. Here is our experience. We went to dr smitha shah’s clinic in aundh once we confirmed pregnency self test at home.
She is good with her sweet talks and found comfort in first look. she asked us for some urine and blood tests along with sonography, which only usually done after 3rd month and am just around 7 weeks pregnant. We did the tests and went to chek with doctors the other day. She hardly seen the diognastic report and hardly concentrate on what we say. she suggest one set of tablet ( folic acid) and one vomit table if necessary.
She charged 300/- consulting for first visit and 100/- in next day visit to comment on diagnostic reports. the tests cost around 1200/- for blood and urine tests and 500 sonography. She asked us to visit again in 3 weeks time.
So till now only folic acid was suggested and hardly any comments on diagnostic reports but charged around 2100/- totally.
We still didnot learn our lesson, After 3 weeks we again went to meet her, after waiting for an hour(as lot of fools like me are there)
we got our number in line. we went in and now she again suggest for another round of sonography and blood tests in a weeks time which again costes
me around 1600/ again. She also suggesting one more test which she says its expensive but better do it(might be better for her).
my cousin back in town recently had a baby boy in normal delivery, her whole pregnency expenses were about 4000/- totally.
am just 2 and half months preg now already spent around 4k now itself. This doctor is money sucker, please dont go to her in any case.
I just seen this review on mouth shut and want to share my experience. and after reading this am going back to my town and continue visiting doctor over there.
