To be honest, I have watched this movie 5 times. And whenever watch the movie, it gives me Goosebumps. The main protagonist, Christine just wanted to level up her career and in order to get a promotion, she said no to a witch who begged her to give another chance for an extension on her home loan. I still remember the scene where Christine walks to her car after duty, and the witch attacks Christine, placing her with the most horrible curse. Everything was just so perfect about this movie…the star cast, the screenplay and everything beyond. Believe it or not…this movie keeps you hooked till the end. Not one boring moment…not even one. What’s saddening is that…in order to remove the curse, she needs to give the cursed object(the button) to someone. And being a kind hearted person, Christine refused to do so. I thought it was a happy ending, but hell broke loose for all the people in the theatre, when we found out that the spell was not yet broken. This movie is a perfect example of a brilliantly film made with perfection. I will surely recommend this movie to anyone and everybody. And the most terrifying scene was when she offered her cat to the demon. And the demon conveyed that he wanted Christine and not her cat. I really appreciate the plot, the direction and background music are applaud worthy performance of all the actors. All the storywriters need to inspiration from this film, if they wish to a king in writing horror movies. One word for this splendid movie – ‘Masterpiece’.
