Style(Dressing) plays an Important role in every field, A well dressed man always has a better impression over other men.Dressing for an interview is not as Easy as eating Jelly.So, here are some tips from BILLA, These tips will help when you dress for an interview.Because the way a person dresses in an interview is as Important as his Academics or Experience.
Note:I ll be Giving tips for MEN for obivious reasons of course.I have selected even very Minor points, you may think that It doeSnt matter but they do.
1.HAIRCUT ETC:
A. HAIRCUT:When you go for An Interview, It is not just the Clothes that matter, It is also your Hair style. Short hair are usually Preferred, and Rather than going for an Unique or fashionable haircut, Go for a simple haircut(Remember you are going for Interview, not Modelling).And please Dont Colour or Bleach your hair, for better Look apply ’’GEL’’to your hair.so, that they will shine more than Normal.
B. BEARD:A Clean Shaved Look is Preferred for Interview, But if at all You want To have something, A light(thin) French Beard will also work.’’French Beard will also show others that you know what stylle is?’’.Please Dont go UNSHAVED and then dont say ’’what ITS MY OSMAN BIN LADEN’S LOOK YAAR’’
C. SIDELOCKS: They should be small, well trimmed, neatly chopped and please dont try BILLA’S(Sanjay dutt) style in MUSAFIR.
2.SELECTION OF CLOTHES:
A. Shirts:Shirts should be Full Sleaves, Plain Shirts are Usually Preferred, Light striped Printed ones will also match the move.The sleaves should be long enough that it should reach your Wrists.
Please dont try Govinda’s Style, dont even try to look Different by Wearing Pink or yellow.
Preferred Colours:Black, White, Navy-blue, Cream.
Preferred Brands:ZODIAC, LEE, WEST-MINISTER.
B. Trousers:Trousers Should be Plain ones, Dont go for Printed ones or Two toned coloured ones. Trouser can be of light or Dark colour, but it should match the contrast of Shirt, Also make sure that Shirt and Trousers are well-washed.You may be a cool dude but dont express your coolness by wearing RED or PINK trousers.No Govinda STYLE PLEASE.
Preferred Colours: Black, Cream.
Preferred Brands:Indigo Nation, Alan solee.
3.Selection of shoes and Socks:
A. SHOES: Shoes should be Formal ones, no Sports ones(Forget ADDIDAS and NIKE)., Shoes can be laced ones or can be without ones.Shoes should also be neatly polished.Please you may be an ELVIS fan but dont go to interview with ’’RED or PINK shoes’’
Preferred Colours:BLACK, DARK BROWN(Black is the best one but in case u dont have black ones then go for Dark Brown ones)
Preferred Brands:RED-TAPE, SHADES.
B. SOCKS: I recommend Plain ones rather than Printed ones, Please select Dark colours only Dont make A fool of yourselves by Wearing ORANGE or Yellow ones.
Preferred Colours:BLACK.
Preferred Brands:NO BRANDS anything will work out.
4.ACCESSORIES
A. Tie:A plain tie will suit the best for an interview, Other wise if you want to BREAK fashion barriers yet it should look CLASSY, then go for Two-toned ties(Watch Sunny deol in Lakeer for example)
Preferred Colours:Black, Cream.
Preferred Brands:ZODIAC.
B. WATCH: Watch is the Favorite accessory of men, but when it is Interview time, A Formal Leather Straped one is Recommended, Perhaps it will suit everyone, I like SWATCH watches that to heavy ones(metal ones)but they look too heavy for interview, and if u wear them u will look like SHAKTI KAPOOR or GULSHAN GROVER.
Preferred colours:Black, Dark Brown
Preferred Brands:Titan, Timex(They are not my favorite ones, But at Interview u cannot wear SWATCH or RADO)
C. BELT: Belt should be simple one, Black colour is usually Preferred, Rather going for a Big heavy belt, go for a light one, and please dont wear PINK, YELLOW, RED belts that are available for 20 BUCKS.(Make sure you wear a right belt other wise u will smashed by other persons Belts)
Preferred Colours:Black.
Preferred Brands:STATE-EXPRESS.
D. PERFUME/DEO:It is also Important for a man should smell good, Please dont Choose AXE for this Special Occasion, Go for CIGAR or HARLEY DAVIDSON.
Optional Accessories:
- FASHION RING:I m not telling you to wear a ’’CHAIN’’like Salman khan, but if you are stylish and want to prove it, then a simple fashion ring is recommended(i m not taking about Those Cheap Skulls ones).
Preferred Colours:Black, Silver.
FEW OTHER IMPORTANT TIPS
1.Be on time for the Interview.
2.In Interview, Dont use words like’’SH*T’’ or ’’YEP’’
3.Talk Slowly and dont laugh as if you are watching a David dhawan movie.
