Below is my recent encounter with dtdc Courier service and this is quite disappointing.
I couriered few important documents with consignment number M43088248 from kasarvadavali, ghodbunder road, thane west on 27 December which is this week only. The destination is in waghale estate in thane itself not hardly more thane 10 kms but still the package is in transit status. I paid Rd 40 for it and the guy said that it will be delivered by 29th of December. The receiver is frustrated as haven’t received the docs yet. I have attached the snap shot from site also for reference.
Similar experience I faced earlier on rakhi festival. My wife sent rakhi’s to saharanpur, U.P. from the same location address mentioned above. But it didn’t reach on time. The reason is that the dtdc service provider in saharanpur received it on time but kept it for several days without delivering. After searching his contact we directly communicated to him and took the package from his location by ourself. So disappointing.
