You can expand the DTDC as "Ditch The Dear Customers"I had booked a parcel through DTDC to one of my friend staying in Chikmagalore. It was a document parcel origin being Bangalore and destination being Chikmagalore. This is the first time I was using DTDC to book any parcel. The parcel was booked on December 4th 2012.
Even after one week the courier was not delivered. Upon checking it was found that the address mentioned was insufficient. I was shocked to know that as it was the same address where other couriers, parcels, posts, electricity bill, insurance letters gets delivered. The courier guy had not even taken the pain of calling the recipient and finding the address if he was unable to locate the address. Instead the parcel was returned back to Bangalore and was asked to re-book the parcel again. This is how ’DITCH THE DEAR CUSTOMERS’ work.
Called up the customer service(Bangalore, Chamrajpet).
Initially no one picked up the call. Upon trying multiple times finally a guy named Sanjay picked the call. He was not having any idea how to talk to a customer. One moment he suddenly gets silent on the call and the next moment he begins to talk to his colleague without informing you. You really get so irritated with so cheap customer service. Also there is so much background noise that is heard on the call. When asked for the ticket number or case number of the call, the customer service person told that they don’t have a system to generate a ticket for the call. Such a big organization and so cheap service!!
This is a pretty bad experience for me as the document could not be delivered on time and I had to face so much trouble and mental harassment. Today, I am taking a oath not to use(and will not allow anyone whom I know to use) the DTDC service. Dear customer, use DTDC if you want to get Ditched.
