I recently couriered important documents to New Delhi via DTDC couriers. the concerned person assured me that the courier will be reached at most in 3 working days. but they delivered them on the 6th day that too after many telephone calls .
What I found out these days reg. the DTDC courier service is that even though the address is perfect they take very long time to deliver the items cos they r having 2 services. one is ordinary service which charges around Rs. 50/- and the other is premium service which is charged at around Rs.80/- to Rs.100/-. So obviously they dont even bother to deliver the ordinary services items on time as they have an excuse that it is ordinary.
This is their part of the game to make money. thats it. In future if people starts to opt for the premium service as it is delivered on time, they will come up with another service so that this current premium services will be degraded. So ultimately the fact is to make a lot of money but not he service.
