I receive 6-10 courier items every week and generally dont face any problem. There is somebody always present in my home, (my ailing mother) so there is no question of door locked excuse! However in last 2-3 years whenever there has been a bad delivery, poor package maintenance, long shipment time, I found that mostly it is DTDC. And then my harrowing story begins.
Once I dont receive a packet, I call up the call center at Kolkata at 33004444 at they immediately shed off there responsibility and eager o pass teh buck to some branch manager, whose phone is mostly elusive, whenever I get caught hold of him, he has more excuses and more numbers to give. Currently I am facing problems with DTDC AWBs X01499167 and K59722424 . They have been shipped 7-8 days back from Delhi and Kolkata and yet to reach my home. The lake view branch manager sounds like a senior babu at some public sector undertaking and passes off the phone to some assistant who says, you will get the product by today, but that today never arrives.
I thought of recording this grievance at Mouthshut, since the feedback form even does not work on dtdc website, and customer care does not have provision to take complain and give docket number, no she cant pass on the phone to some senior as well as she does not have instructions. So where do we go?????
So people, beware of DTDC.
