Hi All, I want to share the pathetic expereince I have faced with DTDC Courier.My shipment shipped on 05th Sep from Gurgaon to Bangalore was returned mentioned "Shipment Returned due to Incorrect address".The DTDC courier did not take any measures to call me or even tried to deliver the parcel.
On the same address, I get couriers from all companies including SpeedPost. I tried to reach their customer contact Number on 080-33004444.First of all noone picks up that phone and it automatically gets disconnected after 3-4 minutes of waiting.I could only get a chance to talk to someone after trying some 50+ times( I am not joking.) to reach their Customer Contact Number.
I am sure others would have faced the same issue.In Gurgaon my father even visited the place where he booked courier and he was given a number to contact which does not exist anymore.What a shame DTDC! I even sent out an email to their Franchsie Offices in madiwala(Bangalore) where the shipment was lying, but noone responds to the email and noone picks up the phone also in that office.
I then went ahead and provided feedback on their site and got a response mentioning the same that courier is not delivered because of Insufficent Address.Come on now, I can also see this status from the site, I dont need corporate office feedback to provide me again that status.I replied them back asking them to help in delivery the courier but then got no response after sending email 2 times.I came to know that my courier has been returned back. DTDC does not listen to their customers at all it seems.There is no mechanism where you can reach out to them.Indeed a terrible service by DTDC.It is not long before companies like this might stop doing business if they dont listen to consumers feedback. I have even filed a complaint against them in National Consumer Helpline today.I will encourage fellow citizens to lodge complaint against the service providers for such a irresponsbile behaviour so that other people do not suffer and some action is taken against such companies.
