Receiving person was about to leave for U.S. on 30th night and hence it should have reached by 29th Sept. And logchandru021y every courier service providers in Mumbai were eligible to deliver that parcel in 3 working days. But parcel was not delivered till 3rd of October. I had contacted my parcel booking office (Malad-w) on 3rd to ask reason why my parcel was not delivered on time. At that time I dint met owner of that franchisee but I met employee and he was telling that it should have been reached and then he checked delivery status. He came to know that it was sent to wrong branch by mistake by DTDC and asked me that due to that mistake it took time to reach there.
So I asked him to get it returned as there wont be anyone to receive at given address after 30th sept and that person had confirmed that parcel is marked for return. When I asked about refund he told me that you will get refund but for that you have to speak to owner.
He took my mobile number and told me that they will call me back after discussing matter with franchisee owner on same night. But I didnt get any call from them after 5 days and hence again yesterday (9th Oct) I visited branch and met owner at late night around 9 PM. I asked him for my refund due to your mismanagement and reason why no one called me back after 5 days also. He didnt reply anything and just tell me that you have to email on email id to get refund and its not guaranteed that you will get refund. When I told them that this person was saying that I will get refund then that shameless owner asked that employee to pay refund from his salary. Ridiculous and rude behavior that to in front of customtakeouter. I had vistied malad(W) branch more than 4 times to get my money back but no success. ASK THOSE GUYS TO LEARN FROM BLUEDART/DHL/FEDEX BRANCHES HOW TO HANLDE PARCELS OR JUST SHUT YOUR SHOP OFF.
I sent emails to malad_west.mum@fr.dtdc.com, css.mumbai@dtdc.com as per branch owner but after 4-5 days also didnt get any response for refund.
ADVISE: NEVER VISIT DTDC BRANCH IN YOUR LIFE. BETTER TO GO FOR BLUEDART/DHL for National and VICHARE for LOCAL (Mumbai/Pune).
