I recently had an option to go to Dubai for a short trip & found this airport really magnificent.
The first thing that caught my eye was the Infrastructure and Facilities at the airport, they were simply world class. Dubai Airport is a great airport for shopping in. You will get wonderful deals at the duty free complex which is really gr8.
Duty free area also got some gold shopping options, watches & some great options for liquor( picked few hic hic.)
Security is very tight at the airport - make sure you have no metal on at all - else they do a proper manual frisking!
Also the airport is quite easy to navigate & has got good clear signages so that u dont loose ur way.
Check - In Time is 3 hrs before dep for eco which is now a norm at all airports across the world.
Immigration took lil bit long coz 2/3 flights at the same time.
Just feels like that ur in a BIG SHOPPING MALL instead of airport as there’s no noise of planes landing/taking off.
Overall, it was a nice airport, glittering n shining throughtout, kept clean & tidy!
