I am not sure whether this movie has been released in India, but if it has, skip this one and gaze at the stars instead! Frankly this isn’t even a movie. Its a 90 minute childish and stupid tele movie targeted exclusively at the teenage audience. Though the tele movie makes you giggle at intervals, before you recover from the laugh, the movie ends!
So here’s what its about. It revolves around 2 pizza delivary teenage boys Chester played by Seann William Scott and his cranky roomy Jesse as in Ashton Kutcher. These two wake up one fine morning unable to remember what happened the previous night. All they know is that they must have had fun. Jesse’s car is missing too(Thats how the movie probably got its title..) and they are anxious to hunt for it as it contains the anniversary gifts for their twin girlfriends.
So off they go on an adventurous(not quite..)tour around town hunting for their car. Each step they take gets more bizzare and confusing. They keep bumping into beautiful babes, a bunch of strange girls who call themselves ’hot chicks’, a transexual stripper, aliens...blah blah, and all them seem to recognize Jesse & Chester from the previous night. Also these ’bumpers’ keep pestering the dudes with a certain ’Continuam transformer’ I didn’t have a clue as to what that was? Neither do Chester and Jesse....Well, the puzzle is solved in the climax with the dudes emerging out as the heros.
The movie has some good animations towards the climax but an uninspiring script is where it fails. Also the idea that teenagers today lack brains is what they have tried to show here which is unacceptable. It is really a waste of time and if you happen to watch this movie you would surely say ’’Dude, what just happened?’’, cause thats what I said!
