ITC can never go wrong with food! Be it any kind, their restaurants are well known for the food they serve and the way they serve it. Being a 5 star, they pay attention to all the nitty-gritties of cooking, serving, presentation and eating. Though a little on the expensive side, I really enjoy eating at this place.
The interiors are sophisticated and can blow you away with its beauty! I went here with my family to sample their Lucknowi food, especially their Kakori Kebabs and Dum Pukht Biryani. We ordered the Kebabs and they were served on a bed of salad and looked very tempting. They were hot and luscious. The meat was so tender that it melted in the mouth and the taste was just way too good! I enjoyed every morsel of those kebabs that went into my mouth!
They also have something called as Pomegranate Kebabs(if I am not wrong), which are very unique as they come with pomegranate sauce. But the star of the day had to be the Dum Biryani. The Dum Biryani is mix together with all the spices and meat and covered with a roti of wheat with which the pot is sealed. It is allowed to cook for hours, till all the meat, spices and rice become one.
The end result? Mind-blowing! The rice is fragrant and delectable. The meat is so tender that it falls off the bones. It was nothing like I have ever had. I loved the time I spent here. Hope to see you soon again Dum Pukht- Jolly Nobobs.
