I visited Dunkin Donuts at Khar on the 26th of September 2015 at around 10 PM. It was Ganesh Visarjan weekend so the outlet was deserted except for me, my friend and another family.
Thanks to a burger I had there Ive been in and out of the Doctors office all weekend with an acute case of food poisoning.
You know what, its FINE for an outlet to make a mistake. But the set of circumstances under which this mistake was made are clearly unacceptable.
The outlet was deserted, I walk up to the counter and ask for a classic mutton burger to which the guy says we have ONLY 1 kind of burger available tonight. As soon as he said that I asked him a pointed question. I asked IS THIS BECAUSE ITS GANESH VISARJAN WEEKEND AND YOU HAVENT BEEN SUPPLIED THIS MORNING OR THE MORNING BEFORE? THATS PROBABLY WHY THE OUTLET IS EMPTY.
He gave me a POINTED answer, NO SIR IT IS ALL FRESH AND MUMBLED SOME BULLSHIT ABOUT AN ONGOING OFFER AND THAT ONLY 1 BURGER IS BEING SERVED.
Since he seemed confident enough, I bought the story and ordered the CHICKEN burger.
The meat was clearly bad. I dont know what kind of village goons Dunkin Donuts at Khar has working beyond the counter but they clearly need to go back to their villages and do something a little more menial for a living. Pardon the anger, but Im pretty sure you wouldnt enjoy the idea of a clueless Dunkin Donut employee feeding you bad meat.
Thats the LAST time Im visiting Dunkin Donuts. In the Food biz, Customer Safety comes FIRST, PERIOD! Not sales.
S*t class service indeed.
