Never make a decision going to pediatric ward here. On Jan 21st 2015, my 2 1/2 year old daughter was suffering with plegm and was not able to take normal breaths. We normally use a nebuliser at home when this brochitis persuades, but this time it was severe and we had to admit her in PICU at around 7.30 PM.
I was sad about my daughters situation and didnt think much into it and admitted in this worst hospital, for my surprise before even getting my kid admitted, the nurse said the doctor is not available for next one hour to check. When we were about to leave the doctor came after a leisure break and said she will take a look at the kid. After checking she said kid is not well and she has to be on Asthaline(nebuliser) and oxygen. Asthaline is only used for people suffering with Asthma.
However, in my litte daughters situation, we should use Budecort and Duolin to relax her air way muscles to take free air. We said ok and started taking her medication. But it didnt work out, We put her on oxygen and celine and the rookie/fresher graduate nurses took blood thrice for some unwanted tests.
After around like 1.00 AM, another fresher nurse came and wanted to take blood from her vein, this time to check oxygen levels. We got really frustrated and shooed away that nurse, this test was really not necessary. This test was for the nurse to learn how to take blood
We immediately discharged her from the hospital at around 2.30 AM and left. To our surprise they billed everything and gave us a bill which was not necessary to pay that high.
REQUESTING EVERY PARENT OR GUARDIAN TO NOT ENTERTAIN YOUR FRIENDS OR YOUR FAMILY TO GO THERE FOR TREATMENT.
There are better hospitals than this worst, governance less, waste maintained hospital.
