I bought a queen-size bed from Durian in August 2006 forapproximately 40, 000 rs. The bed came with a two-yr warranty. It was rarelyused in the first one year. By late 2008, I began having problems with my back.Someone suggested that it could be the bed. Sure enough, an inspection revealedthat the plank of the bed had buckled! Since the bed was out of warranty, Durian refused to replace the plank free of charge. The complaints department-in-charge was very rude.
My back pain is now quite severe. With few options, I had toask Durian to replace the plank, agreeing to bear the cost of replacement. Itsnow been two weeks since I asked Durian to replace the plank and I am stillwaiting. when I called to ask for an update, no one had any clue regarding the status of the job. Hardly the quality or the service you’d expect from a furniture companywho claims to be the best!
