This is the best option to ravel to Calcuta by train next best being Mumbai Howrah mail via Nagpur. Train starts from Mumbai CSTM at 17-15 ( 5 -15 P.M) and reaches Howrah in twenty six and half hours on next day at 19-30 . on return journey train starts from Howrah at 7-55 to reach Mumbai CST at 10-30 am on next day. Usually it is delayed by ten to 20 minutes in up direction and delay should be avoided. train is thrice a week . It should run daily.
Train is good but 20 coaches can be added and fares can be reduce like Garibrath fares between Mumbai and Delhi. may be economy ac 3 tier or double decker ac 3 tier should be used so that it is within reach of common man.
Also irrespective of duronto status it should halt at Dadar, Thane and Kalyan to suit the convenience of passengers. This will only ad 15 minutes but will save time and offer convenience and comfort for most passengers. in the Dn direction it should start from Mumbai CST at 19-05 to each Howrah at 21-30 P.m so that people can start journey after finishing their days work.
It is a god addition but can not match Lalu’s Mumbai-Delhi Garibrath in speed and economy.
