1) Felt more like hostel rather than a resort. Timings for everything including breakfast, lunch, dinner, evening tea/coffee, swimming pool, indoor games, camp fire - everything
2) Whatever they offer, you have to accept, you dont have any choice. You want to play your own music and dance - NO. You want omlette in place of boiled egg - NO
3) They donot have AC, TV in the rooms, no Intercom(atleast in the executive suite we stayed), no question of wi-fi, no internet, no mobile signal(or very very low - Airtel, no data connectivity at that place)
4) Home away from home - so no room service. Every time you have to go to their dining room for food. During evening they offer some snacks which you have to buy but try to avoid them as they dont know how to make them
5) Our room was big but with only one fan in the middle of the room not catering to the four beds and the room was hot. Could not open the windows because of mosquito, so literally sweated throughout the night as it was hot and humid
6) Nothing to see around, though they offer different things like fishing, boating etc but that they offer in a small man made pool which is merely eyewash
7) Once you are there, if you are a honeymoon couple and enjoy privacy, then this place is for you but if you are looking for some fun and excitement, you are going to be disappointed
8) Evening 7.30, they would put camp fire and put on a CD. You have to listen to what they are playing. If you want to play your own music, they would say NO
9) Tea and coffee are the worst here. Never expected such bad coffee in a coffee estate
10) Food was good at lunch but it was so spicy and oily at night that people just avoided taking them. I think it was intentionally done so that people eat less
11) They would start wrapping up around 10 pm forcing you to take dinner and then by 11 pm the place would look like a haunted place and you would be bound to go to your room
12) Manager was rude and we saw him asking 2 girls to get into their room at 11 pm. We even did not get any help from him when we asked him to call the owner of the car which blocked our bus at the parking area
13) They charge 29% tax on top of the room tariff and I am sure none of it goes to the government as they do not accept any card for payment
14) Do not take the Glass House because you have to climb a lot on a steep path and there is no view from the rooms. You have to come down and go up at least 5-6 times in a day for food and other activities and reaching that Glass House would just strain you, particularly if you have kids or elders
15) They are in expansion mode with construction going on and the noise of saw mill is disturbing. They are building Maharaja suits with personal swimming pool and room service(may be ready by 2-3 months). But before taking those rooms, please check and re-check because this particular resort is made just for making money without much hospitality
