Recently had used Eagle Relocation services to transport my car from Mumbai to Hyderabad. Had initially planned to shift my household articles and my car using their services. But since I wanted to shift my car immediately had used their services. I faced one of the most nightmares of my life by using their services. The service was pathetic and of most unsatisfactory level.
I had booked my car to be shifted on the 8th Nov’16 and I was promised of delivery with in 4 days for which payment was taken in full advance. On completion of 4 days I had enquired their Mumbai office on the shipment status wherein they had mentioned it has reached Hyderabad and you will be initimated shortly. Again the next day when I called them they informed me that there is slight delay and would reach in 2 days. Everytime I called their office I was always given a fake answer. The branch manager initially spoke very arrogantly and never gave a prompt reply. On calling their Delhi office I was informed that the shipment took off only on 12th Nov and will reach in four days time. But again on not receiving the delivery called up their delhi office as well as Mumbai office. Everytime they told in 2 days you would get the delivery and is on the way and have reached sholapur. Their favourite spot seems to be sholapur.
Days passed by and there was no sign of my car reaching my place. Everytime I was informed that it is on the way and would reach by tomorrow. One of the reason quoted by their Mumbai Branch Manager Sandeep Sharma was that because of demonitisation there was cash crunch and couldnt pay the driver.
Finally I received my car on the 25th Nov’16 after 17 days. and that too they had not informed me. On my call they informed that the vehicle has reached Bowenpally check post and I have to go to that spot and collect my car which was about 15 kms away from my home. Their Hyderabad local office informed me that they dont give door delivery service. While taking the consignment they had promised they would give door delivery. Later on insistence and calling their delhi office I was informed that my car is not in working condition and wouldnt start. On reaching Bowenpally check post found that the car was in a pathetic condition. There was no petrol in the car( which I had filled for 10 litres). The front door knob was found in broken condition. Some how managed to take my car to the nearest hyundai showroom. The service engineer informed me that there was problem in the radiator and it was leaking. The battery was down. I had to shell out another 8500 for getting my car repaired so as to bring it back home. I was unable to understand how a proper working condition car would break down in the transporter vehicle. Was it used for their own personal purpose for these many days. Let me inform you that Eagle had in turn hired another contractor for transportation.
I had demanded to return back my money which I paid for using their services for which their Mumbai office branch manager denied saying that I had already used their service and amount cant be refunded. They didn’t feel guilty or even sorry for the inconvenience they had caused to me rather they were of the opinion that they managed to deliver my car. But at what cost. Such a pathetic and poor service and they claim to be world renowned. Their employees were not even bothered to call me even once and inform me about the delivery.
I will never ever use their services ever again. Request all the readers to book their services at their own risk.
